Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has been in absolutely superb form for the club this season.
The injury to Kevin De Bruyne has allowed the Portuguese playmaker to play a more central role for the Citizens, and his performances have improved as a result.
Supporters on Twitter have been waxing lyrical about Bernardo’s displays in Sky Blue since the beginning of the campaign:
True, this guy is a monster.

He’s great. Prefer him in midfield. One-footedness can limit things when he’s wide right

The 24-year-old was signed from Monaco for £43.5m in May 2017 and he has proven to be somewhat of a bargain considering the cost of attacking midfielders in the current transfer market.
This season, Bernardo has scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 32 appearances for City. However, in the last few games, manager Pep Guardiola has opted to utilise him out wide once again.
Whether he’ll be afforded a place in the centre of the park for tonight’s game against Everton, we shall have to wait and see.
