Leicester City fullback Ben Chilwell is one of Manchester City’s top targets to strengthen at left-back, according to reports in the UK.
The England international has established himself as first-choice for both club and country over the past 18 months, and it appears the Citizens will step up their interest in the 22-year-old at the end of the season.
Fans on Twitter are not sure whether Chilwell would be the right solution for the club:
Too costly

No doubt, Chilwell would be an expensive purchase but manager Pep Guardiola is seeking to strengthen the left-hand side after Benjamin Mendy’s struggles with injury.
The 24-year-old is now back fully fit but the Frenchman has suffered two major knee injuries during his two seasons at the club, and the Manchester club have had to rely on makeshift deputies.
Neither Fabian Delph nor Oleksandr Zinchenko are natural fullbacks but both have had to play the position during Mendy’s absence. Whether Chilwell will be brought in, we shall have to wait and see.
