Chelsea are interested in re-signing Manchester City centre-back Nathan Ake, according to journalist Nathan Gissing.
The reporter, who is a staff writer for Gianluca Di Marzio, claims that Blues boss Thomas Tuchel rates the Dutch international very highly:

Chelsea are already said to be keen on signing Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus from the Citizens so it remains to be seen how the Premier League champions will respond to the interest.
Other clubs, including West Ham and Newcastle, have been linked to Ake in recent weeks, and there were reports at the start of the month that the 27-year-old would be allowed to leave the Etihad for the right price.
City have been linked with Villarreal’s Pau Torres as a potential replacement and there are likely to be other defenders that the club’s scouts are keeping an eye on.
As with Sterling and Jesus, though, it would be a surprise if City allowed Ake to move to a direct rival so we shall see how things develop if Chelsea do make a bid.
