Manchester City will finalise a deal to sign Juventus right-back Joao Cancelo in the next “few days,” according to Tuttosport. The Italian newspaper say they believe a deal should be done by Monday or Tuesday.
An agreement has reportedly be reached which would see the Citizens pay between €30m (£27.5m) and €35m (£32m) plus Danilo for the Portuguese international. Fans on Twitter are hoping that this latest news is not another false dawn:

This transfer saga has been going on for a couple of months now. The original sticking point was Juventus’s sky-high valuation for Cancelo but it appears a compromise may have been reached.
A further complication was whether Danilo would agree to move in the other direction, and if a deal has been agreed for Cancelo, it means City are confident that the Brazilian will also make the switch.
Manager Pep Guardiola is seeking an attacking fullback who can provide sterner competition for Kyle Walker, and it seems Cancelo has been chosen to fulfil that role.
