VIDEO: City Star Fernandinho Picks His All Time Toughest XI To Play Against

At 34 years of age, Fernandinho has pretty much seen and done it all. The Brazilian started his professional career all the way back in 2002 before moving to Europe in 2005 to play for Shakhtar Donetsk.

After eight years in Ukraine, he made the move to City in 2013 for £36m, where he has had six and a half successful seasons to date. During all that time, the midfield enforcer has played against a whole host of different players. See in the video below who are the eleven best players he has come up against:

There are a couple of surprise names in there, particularly Ivan Cordoba, and what is noticeable too is that there are no present Premier League players in the eleven.

No doubt, Fernandinho himself will be in a number of other player’s all-time XIs they have faced in their career. During his time at the Etihad, he has won three Premier League titles, one FA Cup and four League Cups.
