Manchester City came out comfortable 3-0 winners against Shakhtar Donetsk last night, and David Silva was again at the heart of everything.
The Spanish wizard scored the crucial opening goal with an excellent finish before Aymeric Laporte put the Citizens 2-0 up five minutes later.
City sealed victory 20 minutes from time with a strike from Bernardo Silva but it was the other Silva that fans were waxing lyrical about on Twitter:
we are not worthy

Silva is proving to be the key figure for City in this season’s Champions League campaign after scoring the crucial winner in the 2-1 victory over Hoffenheim last time out.
His goal against Shakhtar and his two assists against Burnley at the weekend show a man at the top of his game despite being 32 years of age.
The attacking midfielder has, however, never relied on his pace and he no doubt has a fair few years ahead of him playing at the highest level.
