Manchester City’s new third kit for next season will be a “fizzy yellow” according to reports.
The Citizens are changing kit manufacturer next campaign from Nike to Puma in a deal reportedly worth £50m a year.
It looks as though the German company are going to go bold with their shirt designs, but many supporters on Twitter are not liking the reported kit colours if they turn out to be correct:
Well my 6 Yr old will like it. X

So from Nike making our away kit based on a double decker bar, Puma are basing it on a fruit salad wrapper ? #confectionerykits

Nike have been City’s kit supplier for the last six seasons but the new contract with Puma will more than double their current deal.
Reports suggest that Puma will not just supply City, but also their affiliated clubs including Melbourne City and Girona. It is believed, however, New York City FC will agree their own deals going forward.
City’s current Nike third kit is a purple design with an orange sash which reflects a number of older shirts. Whether Puma’s effort will be warmly received, we shall see.
