Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that both Oleksandr Zinchenko and Rodri will miss several weeks of action due to injury.
Zinchenko underwent knee surgery this week and is expected to be out for five to six weeks, while Rodri injured his hamstring in the 5-1 win over Atalanta on Tuesday, and will not return until after the next international break.
Supporters on Twitter are cursing their luck with injuries, with Leroy Sane and Aymeric Laporte having already been ruled out for the long term this season:

City have generally coped well despite the injury setbacks, and despite the issues it seems that the club will not be delving into the transfer market when the transfer window opens in January.
Manager Pep Guardiola revealed at his press conference yesterday that there are no plans to strengthen the squad midway through the campaign, despite having to rely on playing the likes of Fernandinho in the centre of defence.
