Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne put in a masterclass as the Citizens came out 3-0 winners against Arsenal.
The Belgian’s deflected pass set up the opening goal for Raheem Sterling, while he converted a penalty to put his side 2-0 up on the night.
Supporters on Twitter are backing De Bruyne to be crowned the PFA Player of the Year, following yet another top drawer performance:

With nine goals and an incredible 16 assists in 27 league appearances this campaign, the 28-year-old should be favourite for the award.
However, the bookies have put two Liverpool players, Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson, ahead of De Bruyne as the leading contenders to pick up the accolade.
On an individual performance level, though, rather than taking anything else into consideration, the City midfielder has done more than either of those two players this season to merit being handed the honour. Whether PFA members will agree when they vote, we shall have to wait and see.
