Willy Caballero Includes 4 City Players And Five Chelsea Stars As He Names His Dream XI

Ex-Manchester City and Chelsea goalkeeper Willy Caballero has named the best eleven players he has played alongside in his professional career.

The 41-year-old spent three years at the Etihad between 2014 and 2017 before leaving on a free to join Chelsea. Despite his age, he is still in the Premier League as an understudy for Gavin Bazunu at Southampton.

Asked to list a Dream XI made up of former teammates, he listed Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta, David Silva and Sergio Aguero from his playing days at City.

However, he also mentioned five Chelsea players, including Edouard Mendy, Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, N’Golo Kante and Eden Hazard.

One of the other two places went to Lionel Messi, who Caballero played with at international level, albeit briefly, as he only received five caps. Former Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla was the final player, with the two having crossed paths at Malaga almost a decade ago.
