‘You Love To Set It’ ‘LETS GOOOOO’ ‘Treble Confirmed’ Fans Delighted As Key City Player Is Pictured Back In Training

Manchester City defender Nathan Ake has been seen back on the training pitch ahead of the game against West Ham on Wednesday night.

The Dutchman has been sidelined for the last three games after sustaining a hamstring injury but he now looks set to return to action for the run-in and fans on Twitter are delighted:

Ake has been in outstanding form in recent months. The 28-year-old has really stepped up since Joao Cancelo’s departure in the January transfer window, and he has excelled playing in a back three.

It’s unlikely that he’ll start at the London Stadium versus the Hammers but you would back him to be in the line up for most of the remaining fixtures.

As well as the two legs of the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid, City have five other league fixtures this month versus Leeds, Everton, Chelsea, Brighton and Brentford. There is also the small matter of the FA Cup final against United at the start of June.
