Manchester City are considering a move for Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita, according to AS. The Madrid based publication report that the 32-year-old is being lined up as a replacement for Claudio Bravo
The Eagles shot-stopper still has 18 months left on his contract at Selhurst Park but he has been made aware of interest from the Citizens, who may make a move for him next summer.
Most supporters on Twitter think City should be focusing on preparing the likes Ari Muric or Zack Steffen, who are already at the club, to become Ederson’s number two:
We literally have zack steffen who is miles better and far more talented with more potential

Rather then worrying about a keeper can we sign a solid centre back already

too good to be a bench player, but wouldn’t turn him down.

We have Muric and Steffen. Why would we need him as well?

Guaita is also reportedly the subject of interest from West Ham, and it is believed that Palace are looking to tie down the player to a longer-term deal.
At the moment, the Spaniard is not looking to listen to offers, but things may change at the end of the season if City do make their move for the goalkeeper.
