Manchester City are interested in signing Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma, according to reports in the English media.
The Japanese international has been in phenomenal form and he has been praised by the likes of Jermaine Defoe for putting in some “incredible” performances.
It is not a surprise then that plenty of City fans on Twitter would like to see Mitoma make the move to the Etihad Stadium:

City supporters will be well aware that Brighton are tough negotiators and the Seagulls are trying to tie Mitoma down to a new contract in order to strengthen their position.
Other teams, including Arsenal and Chelsea, have also been mentioned as potential suitors for the 25-year-old, whose speed and trickery playing off the left wing has caused no end of trouble for Premier League defences this season.
City, themselves, could do with a player like Mitoma. His directness and ability to go at fullbacks one-on-one could add an extra dimension to the team’s attack. We shall see if there is any substance to these links.
