City And Premier League Rivals On Alert As Serie A Defender Is Put On The Market For Just 22M

Inter Milan may consider selling Milan Skriniar for just €25m (£22m) when the transfer window reopens in January, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport‘s Alfredo Pedulla.

The Italian journalist claims that the Nerazzurri may have to cut their losses on the Slovakian international whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Skriniar was linked with Manchester City in the English press a couple of weeks ago so, if they are still interested in the defender, this news will certainly be welcomed.

Pep Guardiola’s side could choose to hold back and wait to sign the 27-year-old on a free transfer in July but there could be a lot of competition for the player’s services.

Other Premier League teams, including Chelsea and Tottenham, have also been mentioned as potential suitors so the Citizens may have a better chance of signing him in the New Year to head off interest from rivals.
