Manchester City will face Lyon or Juventus if they progress to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Pep Guardiola’s side will, of course, have to overcome Real Madrid in their last 16 match first though.

The Citizens are 2-1 up from the first leg with the return fixture scheduled to take place on 7th August at the Etihad Stadium. However, every game from the quarter-finals onwards will take place as a one-off cup tie with all games being played in Portugal over a twelve day period.

In terms of other English clubs, Chelsea have been drawn against Barcelona or Napoli, but the Blues are very unlikely to progress after being beaten 3-0 at home by Bayern Munich in the first leg of their last 16 tie.

Manchester United are set to face either FC Copenhagen or Istanbul Basaksehir in the quarter-finals of the Europe League if they progress against LASK Linz as expected.

Wolves will play either Roma or Sevilla if they manage to overcome Olympiakos. All games in the Europa League will take place in Germany from the quarter-final stages until the final.
