City In Constant Contact With Belgian Star’s Agent Ahead Of Possible 33.5M Summer Transfer

Manchester City have been talking with the agent of Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans on a regular basis, according to reports in the French media.

The Belgian international will have just a year left on his contract at the Foxes in the summer and it appears that the Citizens are weighing up a potential move for the player.

Tielemans has also been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid in recent weeks, but City’s interest is a new development. Manager Pep Guardiola is not exactly short of central midfielders but it is believed that Tielemans could easily adapt to the system that the Spaniard employs.

The 24-year-old is unlikely to cost a great deal either due to his contract situation. Leicester may only be able to hold out for around €40m (£33.5m), as they won’t want to risk losing him for nothing at the end of next season.
