City Prepared To Pay 51.6M Buyout Clause For Brazilian Wonderkid Following Scouting Mission

Manchester City are not put off by the fact that they may have to pay €60m (£51.6m) for Palmeiras striker Endrick, according to ESPN Brasil.

The sports news outlet claims that the Citizens have sent a scout to see the 16-year-old in action, despite the Brazilian having only played four senior games.

Endrick has already scored twice and provided one assist since making his first-team debut, which will only increase the interest being shown in the player.

Most of the Premier League ‘Big Six’, including Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with the teenager, while Real Madrid and other top European clubs are also keeping tabs on the forward’s progress.

A €60m (£51.6m) release clause can be triggered when Endrick turns 18 but a pre-contract agreement can be reached before the transfer takes place. We shall see if City do press ahead with a formal approach for one of the world’s most promising young talents.
