City Set For Transfer Battle With United For £103m Rated Portuguese Wonderkid

Manchester City have joined the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid in pursuing Benfica playmaker Joao Felix, according to reports.

The 19-year-old only made his debut back in August but has established himself as a key first-team player for Benfica this season.

Felix has made 32 appearances in all competitions so far this campaign, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists.

His performances have attracted scouts from across Europe with Barcelona, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and even West Ham having watched the attacking midfielder.

Felix’s €120m (£103m) release clause will likely narrow down the list of interested parties, and the teenager has already said he is happy to stay at Benfica.

However, it is believed the Portuguese starlet could leave the Estadio da Luz if the right offer is made for the player.

Felix is currently away on international duty with Portugal, and he is expected to feature against Ukraine this evening in a Euro 2020 qualifier.
