Clubs – NO To W

Nottingham Forest’s extraordinary spending spree has seen them sign TWENTY TWO different players at the cost of £150m. Whether it will help them stay up, though, it remains to be seen. Southampton seemed to have shopped exclusively at Manchester City this summer, considering the number of arrivals from the Etihad.

Tottenham and Wolves have also been pretty active in the market but the biggest surprise is West Ham’s heavy investment in nine new signings, including a club-record deal for Brazilian international midfielder Lucas Paqueta.
