Clubs – M to N
The two Manchester clubs didn’t do a great deal of business, although City did snap up a very promising young player in Julian Alvarez, with many expecting a great deal of the Argentine when he joins up with the Premier League champions in the summer.
Most of the focus was taken up by Newcastle’s transfer dealings, though. The club were linked with a lot of players last month due to their newfound wealth. They managed to get five big additions in through the door, including Bruno Guimaraes from Lyon for £35m.
