Manchester City are willing to blow Chelsea and other clubs “out of the water” with a £100m bid for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, according to the Mirror.
The Citizens are seeking a replacement for Sergio Aguero and they are said to be prepared to make a deal happen this summer rather than wait for the 20-year-old’s £68m release clause to kick in next year.
In addition to Chelsea, City are likely to face competition from Real Madrid and Manchester United for Haaland and fans on Twitter know it will be a battle to sign the Norwegian international:
The will be a bidding war. It won't be as easy as we see. Moreover, the chances of city signing him under pep will because of personality clash.

City undoubtedly have an interest in Haaland but it remains to be seen whether they are willing to break their transfer record in order to secure his signature.
As some supporters have mentioned, the Mirror isn’t the most reliable of sources, so it is best to take this latest news with a large pinch of salt.
