Anthony Gordon
The fourth-fastest player in the Premier League last season was Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon, who clocked a maximum sprint speed of 36.61kmph.
For all his quickness, Gordon ultimately failed to impress for both Everton and Newcastle last season. He became unpopular with Everton supporters towards the end of his Toffees spell and did little to redeem himself at St. James’ Park.
Regardless, aged just 22, Gordon still has his whole career ahead of him. He has shown bursts of major potential – but will he live up to it?
