4) Erling Haaland (Manchester City) – 7/1

Some City supporters may ask why the Dane has such long odds to win his second Player of the Year accolade in a row.

After all, Haaland has still scored a phenomenal 29 goals, despite being sidelined for the best part of a month with a foot injury.

The fact that his form has dipped ever so slightly from last season may have influenced his position on the list currently.

Bagging so many goals on a consistent basis should not be underestimated, though, and Haaland deserves to be in contention for the award.
