The Toffees have not spent any money so far this summer, which is raising alarm bells on Merseyside.
Manager Sean Dyche has only brought in veteran Ashley Young on a free transfer, as well as Arnaut Danjuma on loan so far.
After narrowly avoiding the drop last season, fans are fearing another battle against relegation, unless they can strengthen the squad between now and September 1st.
Dyche is a very good manager but he is not a miracle worker, so expect Everton to struggle once again.
