FPL: Ranking The HIGHEST Scoring Players In Premier League Fantasy Football Gameweek 2

Bernardo Silva celebrating a win.

The second gameweek of the FPL has concluded, with teams such as Arsenal, West Ham United and Aston Villa romping their way to victory.

However, today, we are not interested in how those teams performed – instead, we’ll be looking at the highest scoring players within them on FPL.

Last week, Manchester United’s Raphael Varane was the highest scoring player in Premier League Fantasy Football – this week, though, he is nowhere to be found.

The players on this list play for clubs such as Aston Villa, Brentford and Brighton and Hove Albion. Before we begin, can you guess who they are?

Leon Bailey

Aston Villa annihilated a hapless Everton outfit at the weekend by a score of 4-0 – superstar winger Leon Bailey was the driving force behind their rout., picking up 14 FPL points along the way.

Playing on the right wing, he gave the Toffees’ left-back, Ashley Young, a thoroughly torrid afternoon as he ghosted past the former Manchester United man time and time again.

He registered an assist on the 18th minute, when he set up John McGinn for Villa’s first goal – he then capped off his excellent performance with a goal in the second half.

Solly March

Like Villa, Brighton and Hove Albion also scored four goals at the weekend, as they ripped Wolverhampton Wanderers to bits – but they couldn’t have done it without the perpetually underrated Solly March.

He bagged 15 FPL points at the weekend, as the Seagulls won by a score of 4-1 away from home. He scored a second half brace, with both goals being just four minutes apart from each other.

He wasn’t the only high-scoring Brighton player at the weekend – Kaoru Mitoma and Pervis Estupinan also accumulated impressive tallies.

Bryan Mbuemo

The player who picked up the most FPL points at the weekend was Bryan Mbuemo, who racked up a score of 16 as Brentford defeated Fulham at Craven Cottage by a score of 3-0.

The Bees dominated their London derby, carving open Marco Silva’s team with regularity. Mbuemo was a constant thorn in the Cottagers’ side – they simply could not handle his driving runs and clever movement off the ball.

He scored a brace against Fulham – the first came during the 66th minute with a penalty, before he put the cherry on top of his performance with a second goal in added time.
