FPL: Three Manchester City Players You NEED In Your 2023/24 Fantasy Football Premier League Team

The FPL Premier League season isn’t far away, with the first game of the season taking place on Friday, August 11 – to ensure you don’t get left behind, here are three Manchester City players you’ll need in your Fantasy Football squad.

For this list, we’ll be looking at players from each section of the Manchester City squad – including defenders, midfielders and attackers.

We’ll list the price of each player on the official Premier League website and we will also explain why you will need each player in your team.

If you choose to play on the official Premier League website’s fantasy football game, be aware that you can only have three players from any one team – so pick wisely!

Nathan Ake

Up first on our list is Nathan Ake. You may wonder why we have chosen him over the likes of Ruben Dias, John Stones and Kyle Walker to represent the defence, but the answer is quite simple – not only is he relatively cheap, his points return was also excellent last season.

In the 2022/23 fantasy Premier League campaign, Nathan Ake was Manchester City’s second-highest scoring defender, as he picked up 92 points in total.

The player ahead of, John Stones, picked up just one point more than him – additionally, at £5.5, Stones is £0.5 more expensive than the Dutch international.

Kevin De Bruyne

We feel the next two entries on this list are fairly self-explanatory – nevertheless, it would take some serious justification to leave out the magical Kevin De Bruyne from your FPL outfit.

Last season, the Belgian was absolutely sensation for the Sky Blues. He scored seven goals, alongside 16 assists in the Premier League alone.

While De Bruyne is a little expensive at £10.5, he is still arguably the best player in the Premier League – therefore, we think his high price is entirely justified.

Erling Haaland

Who else could top a list such as this? Anyone who did not have Erling Haaland in their team last season was left in the dust, as he scored a record-breaking 36 goals.

From a fantasy football perspective, the 22-year-old picked up an incredible 272 points – without him, City’s treble likely would not have been possible.

He is the most expensive player in the entire game next season at a whopping £14.0, so you will need to make sacrifices to include him – but we feel they are definitely worth making.
