It isn’t difficult to see why he has been given such a high price – not only is De Bruyne a supreme technician, he also collects point en mass. Last season, the Belgian picked up 183 points in total.
De Bruyne is always a reliable pick in any FPL team – if anything, it seems odd that his price is not even higher. However, as he is currently carrying an injury, there are question marks as to whether he will be available for the first game of the campaign.
