Manchester City may have won 5-0 against West Ham at the weekend, but they did come under some pressure during the match at the London Stadium.
Ederson had to be at his very best when he made a double save to stop the Hammers from bringing it back to 2-1 in the second half. He made a smart stop from Javier Hernandez, but it was the second save from Manuel Lanzini that was truly world-class:

With City’s defence being so watertight, Ederson is not always in the game, but it is the mark of a truly excellent shot-stopper to come up with some great saves when you haven’t had much else to do.
The Brazilian was in Alisson’s shadow last season in terms of the golden glove, but with the Liverpool goalkeeper out injured, he is now heavy favourite for the award.
