Real Madrid are interested in Manchester City centre-back Aymeric Laporte, according to reports in the English media.
It is said that the Citizens would demand at least the £57m they paid Athletic Bilbao for the player three years ago, but supporters on Twitter think they should hold out for more:
If we sell him for less than 70m we’ve failed. He’s massively improved since we signed him and he’s now more proven and he’s absolutely quality.

Laporte has moved down the pecking order at City this season, with manager Pep Guardiola having preferred John Stones alongside Ruben Dias in the centre of defence for the majority of the campaign so far.
Even so, it would be a surprise if the 26-year-old was sold to Real. The La Liga champions are likely keen to strengthen their centre-back options with reports linking Raphael Varane with a move away from the Bernabeu.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United are thought to be interested in signing the Frenchman, and if the defender does leave in the summer, Real could well step up their interest in Laporte.
