‘Like A Worn Out Recording Of A Favourite Song’ City Fans On Social Media Sceptical About Reports Of £106m Swoop

Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are all keeping tabs on Real Madrid playmaker Isco, according to reports in Spain.

Madrid are believed to be weighing up selling the 27-year-old for €120m (£106m) this summer but have yet to make a final decision.

Considering City have been linked with Isco numerous times over the years, supporters on Twitter are very sceptical about the latest report:

Isco has certainly had a troubled season at Real, having only started 11 games in the league under three different managers.

He was frozen out under Santiago Solari but was brought back in from the cold by Zinedine Zidane. However, the Frenchman has not consistently picked him either.

Isco has regularly been on the bench since the Madrid legend’s return as manager, and the club are apparently seriously considering selling up due to the midfielder’s poor attitude. The proceeds from the Spanish international’s sale could also be used to rebuild the squad.
