Latest Man City Injury News And Expected Return Dates: Updates On Phil Foden And 2 Others

Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has confirmed that he picked up a “bad dead leg” during the 3-3 draw against Real Madrid.

The 23-year-old was taken off a few minutes before the end of normal time at the Bernabeu, with Julian Alvarez taking his place.

Manager Pep Guardiola says that Foden was unhappy at being substituted but it looked like the right call to protect his fitness.

It’s unlikely that the England international will be risked this weekend, and he will be given as much time as possible to be fit for the second leg versus Real next Wednesday.

Expected Return Date – Wednesday 17th April v Real Madrid
