Man City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Erling Haaland sustained a back injury against Arsenal on Sunday.
The striker was replaced by Nico Gonzalez in the second half of the 1-1 draw at the Emirates, and speaking ahead of the Carabao Cup tie versus Huddersfield Town, Guardiola said that he is hopeful that Haaland will be back to face Burnley:
“[Haaland was in] recovery yesterday [Monday], he didn’t train. Today [Tuesday] I didn’t see him or the rest of the players yet, but hopefully he can be [back] for the next weekend.”

Abdukodir Khusanov
Guardiola also revealed that the Uzbek international will miss the next three games, having been forced off at half-time against the Gunners.
Khusanov had his foot stood on, and it now means the centre-back will be out until the start of next month.

The forward sustained a knee injury whilst playing for Egypt against Burkina Faso earlier this month.
