‘Good News’ ‘We Are So Back’ ‘Should Start From The Bench’ Fans React As City Are Given Big Injury Boost

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is back in training ahead of the game against Nottingham on Sunday.

The Norwegian international was not in the matchday squad for the 4-0 win over Brighton midweek but manager Pep Guardiola had said that the forward was only ruled out due to a minor knock.

It appears that Haaland will be in contention to start versus Forest and most supporters on X are happy that their top scorer is fit and available:

Haaland will want to prove the doubters wrong

Despite scoring 31 times in 37 appearances this season, some pundits have questioned what else he offers this City team.

Admittedly, Haaland didn’t have the best of games in his last outing against Real Madrid, missing a number of good openings, but you wouldn’t bet against him getting on the scoresheet versus Forest.

City are playing catch-up on their title rivals

Depending on what happens in the North London derby earlier in the day, Guardiola’s men could find themselves four points behind Arsenal once again going into their next fixture.

Even so, City’s players know that, if they win all of their remaining fixtures between now and the last day in May, they will be Premier League champions for the sixth time in seven seasons.
