Ruben Dias

The Portuguese international missed the 2-0 win over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final due to a hamstring problem.

As a result, Dias was not part of Portugal’s squad for their friendlies against Mexico and the United States.

Even minor hamstring injuries usually take at least two to three weeks to recover from.

It means that Dias is a serious doubt for the FA Cup quarter-final tie against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon.

Expected Return Date – Unknown

Josko Gvardiol

The defender fractured his leg during the 1-1 draw against Chelsea at the beginning of January.

Gvardiol is now in rehabilitation, with the player targeting a comeback before the end of the domestic season.

The Croatian international is walking without a protective boot, and he is making better-than-expected progress in his recovery.

While Gvardiol is not likely to be available next month, there is hope he could get some minutes in the final few weeks of the campaign.

Expected Return Date – May
