The winger is still undergoing treatment on a muscular injury he sustained against Sunderland on New Year’s Day.

Savinho’s recovery is said to have suffered a series of setbacks. Guardiola said 3 weeks ago that he could make his return in two or three weeks, but he hasn’t been pictured in training.

Jeremy Doku

The Belgian suffered another calf injury against Galatasaray last month. It is not believed to be quite as bad as the last one he picked up.


Assistant manager Pep Lijnders estimated a three-week layoff so Doku could be close to playing again.

Josko Gvardiol


The centre-back fractured his leg against Chelsea in the 1-1 draw at the Etihad six weeks ago.

Gvardiol is expected to be out for several months, but there is hope that he will make his comeback before the end of the season.

Mateo Kovacic


The Croatian international has shared a post of himself back out on the grass, but he is still some way off from making his return to first-team action.

Kovacic suffered complications from surgery last summer. He has calcification in his ankle.
