Man City Injury News And Return Dates: Updates On Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol & 4 Others

Man City defender Ruben Dias has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a hamstring injury.

The Portuguese international was taken off after picking up the issue in the final 10 minutes of the 1-1 draw against Chelsea on Sunday.

Dias could miss up to 11 fixtures, including the Manchester derby and the two legs of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Newcastle.

The defender could make his comeback slightly earlier than that, with a more optimistic recovery time of around a month, but hamstrings take time to heal.

Expected Return Date – Saturday 21st February vs Newcastle (h)

The Norwegian also pulled his hamstring when he played against Brentford in the Carabao Cup quarter-final last month.

Bobb was forced off in the first half, and manager Pep Guardiola has not given an estimate as to when he could make his return.
