Cesc Fabregas Names 2 Current City Stars In His All Time Premier League XI

Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has selected Manchester City pair Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne in his all-time Premier League XI.

Asked by the Daily Mail on their TikTok channel about who he would include, Fabregas went with Walker at right-back, while he couldn’t decide between De Bruyne and another City legend David Silva for the right-wing spot.

Walker has certainly made a massive contribution since arriving from Tottenham in the summer of 2017. He has lifted five Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four Carabao Cups, two Community Shields, one Champions League as well as the Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.

The right-back has also made a total of 294 appearances for the reigning Premier League champions, scoring 6 goals and providing 21 assists.

De Bruyne has been even more influential than Walker. As well as winning 15 major honours, the Belgian international has bagged 101 goals and laid on an incredible 166 assists.

Many believe he is already one of the greatest midfielders of the Premier League era, so it is not a surprise whatsoever that Fabregas was keen to include him in his XI.

De Bruyne could leave City this summer

While Walker committed his future to the club last year, after flirting with a move to Bayern Munich, there is less certainty over where De Bruyne will be playing his football beyond this season.

The 32-year-old is closing in on the final year of his contract and, if he doesn’t sign an extension, it has been suggested that City will receive offers from Saudi Arabia.

Who else made it into Fabregas’s All-Time XI?

The World Cup winner named former Arsenal player David Seaman in goal, with Ashley Cole, former teammate John Terry and Rio Ferdinand joining Walker in a back four.

Fabregas went with Cristiano Ronaldo, Steven Gerrard, and Patrick Vieira alongside De Bruyne/Silva in midfield. He named Thierry Henry and Didier Drogba as his front two.
