‘He’s Going To Ball Like Palmer’ ‘This Is His Season’ City Fans Excited After Seeing 21 y/o Winger In Action

Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb scored once and provided 2 assists as his side lost 4-3 to Celtic in a friendly on Tuesday night.

The 21-year-old was asked about his performance after the game, and he said he put in a “decent” display:

“I want to play the best I can, not lose the ball as many times as I did today and hopefully score more. My goals and two assists were decent today but overall I was a bit rusty.”

Fans on X believe that Bobb was being rather harsh on himself and they feel he could have a breakout season for the Premier League champions:

Bobb has been linked with a move away from City

Chelsea have been credited with an interest in the Norwegian international over the past week or so. It appears as if the Blues are trying to pull off a similar deal to the one that saw Cole Palmer move to Stamford Bridge last year.

However, you can’t see the Cityzens making the same mistake twice, and you can almost guarantee that Bobb will get plenty of minutes next season.

Guardiola has options on the wings

With Bobb blossoming and Savinho having been signed from Troyes, manager Pep Guardiola will be able to rotate his wingers much more than he did last campaign.

Along with Jeremy Doku and Jack Grealish, he won’t be short of players to deploy in wide areas.
