The release clause in the contract of Manchester City target Dani Olmo expires on July 15th, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
It means that the Premier League champions have less than three weeks to pay the RB Leipzig player’s buyout fee, which currently stands at €60m (£51m).

City are keeping tabs on Olmo
The Athletic reported earlier this week that the Cityzens have been in contact with the Spanish international’s representatives recently.
However, a move for Olmo is not deemed to be “urgent”, which suggests that Pep Guardiola’s side won’t take advantage of the release clause.
Any bid hinges on the future of De Bruyne and Silva
Olmo is an attacking midfielder by trade and he would take up the same positions that the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva occupy on the pitch.
There are doubts about whether either midfielder will stay at the Etihad this summer but, until their futures are resolved, it seems unlikely that City would consider making an offer for a potential replacement.
Olmo could still end up going elsewhere. Liverpool have also been credited with an interest, while Barcelona have been tipped to re-sign their former player.
