Manchester City are keeping tabs on RB Leipzig attacking midfielder Dani Olmo, according to the Daily Mail.
The English tabloid reports that Manchester United and Real Madrid have joined the likes of City, Chelsea and Tottenham in pursuing the Spanish international.
Supporters on X are split on whether the Premier League champions should sign Olmo, with some admirers of his ability while others have questioned his recent injury record:
Sicknote, same as Neto

YES he fits our profile so well. Can basically play anywhere across the 4 attacking positions

Would be a decent option for our midfield incase Wirtz or Musiala are too expensive

The 25-year-old has missed the best part of three months of the campaign due to knee and shoulder problems.
It has to be said that Olmo is rather injury-prone, having also been missing for similarly lengthy periods during his previous two seasons at Leipzig.
One of the reasons why so many clubs are taking an interest in Olmo is because a release clause in his contract will become active this summer.
Any club can sign the midfielder for €60m (£51m). As we have seen in the past, City’s Director of Football Txiki Begiristain has been keen to take advantage of such clauses, having recruited the likes of Jack Grealish, Rodri and (most notably) Erling Haaland that way. We shall see if he takes the bait with Olmo as well.
