‘If True, We’re A Joke’ ‘WORST Selling Club Ever’ Fans Not Happy As City Contemplate £30M Sale

Manchester City will demand a fee of around £30m for Ederson, according to talkSPORT.

The Brazilian international has reportedly been in discussions with Al-Nassr over a potential move to Saudi Arabia.

It is believed that the Cityzens won’t stand in Ederson’s way if he wants to leave but many supporters on X have taken issue with the goalkeeper’s low asking price:

Why is Ederson looking to move clubs?

From the outside looking in, it does appear as if the 30-year-old’s departure is financially motivated. He is currently earning £100,000 a week at the Etihad but reports suggest he could get almost five times that amount if he makes the switch to the Middle East.

Ederson has two years remaining on his contract and, with there being no sign of City offering improved terms that could persuade him to stay, his departure is looking increasingly likely.

Will City replace their No.1?

Stefan Ortega has recently put pen to paper on a new deal, and it looks like the German will become first-choice if Ederson departs.

Of course, a new backup keeper would need to be signed but, from the sound of things, the Premier League champions feel they already have Ederson’s replacement lined up.
