Manchester City will be among the teams looking to sign Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz at the end of the season, according to reports in Italy.
The Gazzetta Dello Sport claims that the Premier League champions, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are “willing to push” to secure the Turkish international’s signature this summer.
Yildiz is currently managed by his parents but it appears that a “Superagent” could well be representing him very soon.
Gazzetta report that Yildiz’s relatives were pictured talking to Jorge Mendes, and his involvement may suggest that the 19-year-old is set to leave Juve pretty soon.
Yildiz won’t be available on the cheap
The teenager hasn’t really had a breakout season yet. Since making his first-team debut for the Bianconeri, his numbers have been pretty modest, racking up 10 goals and 6 assists in 64 appearances.
However, many believe that Yildiz has the potential to go on to do big things, and the player is in pretty high demand.
Gazzetta claim that every member of Juve’s squad “seems to have a price” on their head and it is believed that the Turkish winger could be offloaded for between €80m (£67m) and €90m (£75m).
Do City need to sign another forward?
After splashing out a substantial sum on Omar Marmoush in January, some fans may question whether the Cityzens should be spending more money on another wide player.
However, if Jack Grealish does leave the Etihad when this campaign is over, as some have predicted, there would be space for Yildiz alongside the likes of Marmoush, Jeremy Doku, Savinho and Oscar Bobb.
It should be pointed out that Yildiz can also be deployed as a No.10 so he could be seen as a replacement for either Kevin De Bruyne or Bernardo Silva.
