Manchester City are one of several teams interested in signing Lille goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, according to reports in France.
Le Parisien (via Get France Football News) claim Pep Guardiola’s side, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are all keen on the shot-stopper.
However, Lille are believed to be demanding €70m (£59m) and most City supporters on X don’t think Chevalier is worth that much:

70m is madness I'll understand if it was donnarumma(who is a treble winner and a class keeper) but this guy doesn't worth it

Man City have been linked with other keepers
Chevalier is by no means the only shot-stopper on the Cityzens’ radar. Burnley’s James Trafford, Espanyol’s Joan Garcia and Porto’s Diogo Costa have all been mentioned as potential options too.
PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma is also said to be a name under consideration if he opts to leave the European champions this summer. The Italian international has just a year left on his contract and discussions over an extension have not progressed.
What is the situation with Ederson?
It is widely believed that the Brazilian international will be the subject of another approach from Saudi Arabia. Al-Hilal, specifically, are reportedly in the market for a new number one.
Ederson’s transfer to the Middle East collapsed last year after clubs failed to agree a fee with City, but it’s likely that the Manchester club will soften their stance this summer.
In other news, a journalist has confirmed that City have made “initial enquiries” for a Newcastle player
