‘Lord, Please Let This Happen’ ‘Bring That Guy To The Etihad’ Fans React As Man City Plot £87M Transfer Raid

Man City are one of three Premier League clubs who are prepared to pay at least €100m (£87m) for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, according to reports in Germany.

Magazine Sport Bild claim that the Cityzens are hoping to bring the Frenchman back to the Premier League next summer, along with Liverpool and Chelsea.

While the majority of City supporters on X would back their club signing Olise, not everyone is convinced that the player would be prepared to leave Bayern for the Etihad:

Olise has caught the eye at Bayern

Since moving to the Bundesliga at the start of last season, the forward has scored 25 goals and contributed 29 assists in just 64 appearances.

Olise has also overcome the injuries he suffered with during his time at Crystal Palace, making him an even more attractive transfer target.

Man City need more from their wingers

While Jeremy Doku has stepped up to the plate at the start of this campaign, there are still question marks over the quality if Savinho and Oscar Bobb.

Both are young and have experienced injury problems in recent months, but manager Pep Guardiola will want to see them start producing goals and assists on a consistent basis soon.

Olise is only 23 years of age, and he is not that much older than either Savinho or Bobb, so there is an argument to say that he would be an upgrade on the pair.
