Fulham are “in talks” to sign Man City winger Oscar Bobb for £35m, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Norwegian international is expected to leave the Etihad this month following the arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth.
However, the Cottagers’ entrance into the race is somewhat surprising, considering that both Borussia Dortmund and Tottenham were seen as favourites to snap up Bobb up until now. The vast majority of fans on X believe that, if the Cityzens do end up selling the player for £35m, they should include an option to buy him back in the future:
Buy back clause please.

Good deal 50m buy back clause and 20% sell on clause on future sale should be a big bargain.

Bobb has fallen down the pecking order
As mentioned, the decision to sign Semenyo means the 22-year-old is now fifth choice in terms of Pep Guardiola’s options out wide.
Jeremy Doku, Savinho and Rayan Cherki would likely be favoured ahead of Bobb, in addition to Semenyo, if he did stay in Manchester.
Dortmund could come in with a late bid for the Man City forward
Romano has hinted that the Bundesliga giants are still weighing up whether to make an approach. Bobb would probably prefer to move to Germany due to their profile and the fact that he would have the chance of playing Champions League football.
However, there are doubts over whether they could match Fulham’s offer. It is believed the reason Dortmund haven’t made a move up until now is that they need to offload some players first.
