Manchester City winger Phil Foden was not in the matchday squad for the 4-1 win over Ipswich Town at the weekend.
The England international was forced to miss the game due to an illness he picked up in the build-up to the fixture.
No further updates have been provided on Foden’s fitness but he is not expected to be sidelined for a lengthy period.
If all goes to plan, he should be in the travelling party that makes the trip to the London Stadium on Saturday evening.
