The defender had only been a regular starter for one season at Brighton prior to joining the Gunners in 2021.
White had been a centre-back during his time with the Seagulls but, within a year of moving to the Emirates, he had switched positions.
The emergence of William Saliba meant White began to be deployed mostly as a right-back by manager Mikel Arteta.
Last season was a challenge for the player as he was plagued by a knee problem, and he now has stiff competition for his place from Jurrien Timber.
