The Premier League have announced the eight nominees for the EA Sports Player of the Season award.

There are some controversial omissions, most notably Rodri, who is among the top contenders for the PFA Players’ Player of the Year.

Two other Manchester City players have made the shortlist, though, with fans being allowed to vote for their favourite ahead of next Monday’s deadline.
