4) Southampton (+£13m)

The Saints have weakened their squad after offloading Vestergaard and Danny Ings. There is a concern that manager Ralph Hasenhuttl won’t be able to continue performing above expectations, whilst losing his best players.

3) Brighton and Hove Albion (+£15.7m)

The Seagulls have made a number of new signings in recent months but all of it has been offset by the £50m they received from Arsenal for centre-back Ben White.

2) Aston Villa (+£23m)

Dean Smith’s side have spent a fair bit of the £100m they received from Grealish’s sale and it remains to be seen whether all their new additions will prove successful.

1) Chelsea (+£31.7m)

Despite shelling out £97.5m on Romelu Lukaku, the Blues have actually made the most profit this summer by offloading the likes of Fikayo Tomori, Marc Guehi and Kurt Zouma.
