Reliable Journalist Confirms City Star Is “Unsatisfied’ At The Club Amid Arsenal Transfer Speculation

Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling is “unsatisfied” with his playing time at the club and could be offloaded this summer, according to journalist Sam Lee.

The Athletic‘s City correspondent claims the England international is one of a number of players in the first-team squad who are considering their futures:

Arsenal have been linked with Sterling in recent days, along with Riyad Mahrez, who Lee says could also be sold with the Algerian having only two years remaining on his contract.

Sterling’s exit would be more of a surprise, though, considering it was reported recently that the club were holding talks over a new contract.

The 26-year-old did suffer a dip in form last season, having scored just 10 Premier League goals, and it is believed that he could be sacrificed in order to raise funds for the likes of Jack Grealish and Harry Kane.

Sterling’s departure will likely be dependent on what sort of bids they receive for the England international between now and the end of August.
